Pedro Emanuel

Pedro Emanuel Martins dos Santos Silva (Luanda, February 11, 1975), is a football coach and a former Portuguese football player.

Having done his training in Boavista FC, ​​was for this club that came to clinch the champion in the 2000/01 season. Moved after this win for FC Porto.

In June 2009 ended his career as a professional football player and took over as coach of the under-17’s Futebol Clube do Porto, being the National Champion right on the 1st season as head coach.

At the beginning of the 2009/2010 season was announced as assistant coach of Andre Villas Boas at Porto’s main squad.

At the end of the 2010/2011 season, started his career as head coach at Academica Coimbra.

In his first season as coach, the club managed to keep the 1st football league (13th place) and secured the participation in the group stage of the Europa League by beating Sporting in the final of the Cup of Portugal.

Note that the club was not going to the final 43 years ago and had not won the trophy 73 years ago.
